Nail Polish of the Week 2

My nail polish for this week is the one I just bought from The Face Shop a few days ago. It is my first time to use this color. I feel like a teenager with this. ^-^

Base Coat: The Face Shop Nail Base Coat
Nail Polish: The Face Shop YL702
Top Coat: The Face Shop Nail Top Coat

Every time I look at my nails, I feel bright and happy. Hopefully, that's how I will be this week.

Review: Etude House Pearl Extract Face Mask

When I got home last night, I was very excited to use the face mask I bought in eBay. It was my first time to use a mask sheet at home. I seldom try beauty products on my face because the skin on my face is weird. Well, I have a combination skin. Oily on my forehead, dry around the eye area and nose, and normal on my cheeks and chin. It's hard to find a beauty product that will fit my face's needs. But since I've been reading good feedback about face masks, I decided to give them a try.

The face mask that I used was the Etude House Pearl Extract Face Mask sheet.

The face mask has a floral scent. It reminded me of old women's perfume though it was not that strong. It was tolerable.

The mask is not that big. It fits my face.

Pardon my ugly face. ^-^

I felt a bit uncomfortable when I first put on the mask. The essence felt a bit sticky on my fingers though it disappeared soon. So while the mask is on my face, I continued surfing the internet. After 15 to 20 minutes, I removed the mask. I spread the remaining essence on my face and neck. When I looked in the mirror, my forehead looks shiny. But after around 5 minutes, the shine disappeared. My face felt softer and smoother after using this. It also looks bright and lively.

When I woke up this morning and looked in the mirror, my face still looked bright even though I just got up from the bed. My forehead was not oily. The best thing of all, no breakouts. Just a bright and clear face. :)

Etude House Haul 2

Before watching the show of 4Minute in SM Megamall this afternoon, my friend and I met up at Etude House. It seems like any trip to SM Megamall will not be complete without going to this store.

Both of us like Etude House for different reasons. My friend likes it because one of its endorsers is Lee Min Ho, whom she has a huge crush on. She also buys products here though I haven't heard any feedback from her about them. As for me, I like it because of the products. They have cute packaging and inexpensive price. The products I have used so far are of good quality. I also like the store itself, pink and girly. ^-^

Anyway, here are some of the things I bought which I'm totally loving because of they're pink. LOL.

Etude House Multi-Pouch (P178.00)
Etude House Shower Ball (P78.00)
Etude House Puff Pact (P78.00)

I got another Lee Min Ho folder because my friend also bought a cosmetic pouch. She gave the folder to me because according to her, she already have a lot.

4Minute in Manila

I went to SM Megamall this afternoon to watch the show of the Korean girl group, 4Minute. I was with one of my friends who is also a Kpop fan like me. We watched from the 3rd level because when we arrived, there were already a lot of people. There were also lots of Koreans.

One of the things I noticed from the members of 4Minute is that all of them have nice skin. They are really lucky to be blessed with that. ^-^

I also like the clothes they wore (the ones in the intro of one of their MV's, Muzik, with the exception of Kim HyunA who wore something else). Pink and black. And the shoes! I love!

They performed some of their hit songs like Hot Issue and Muzik. They also sang one English song, Stickwitu by The Pussycat Dolls. Their version is good.

Here are some of the pictures I took during their performance.

Looking forward to more Kpop shows here in Manila this year. ^-^

eBay Haul 1

I received something from the mail today.

The beauty products I bought from eBay a few days ago! :)

I bought them from a trusted Korean seller who lives here in the Philippines, bhappywithme. She sells a lot of Korean beauty products. The prices are very reasonable. She also sells a lot of sample products which is really good.

Here they are:

Etude House Pearl Extract Face Mask (P50.00)

Etude House Blanc Blanc Hair Fragrance (P180.00)

Skin Food Grape Seed Oil Body Shower Gel (P21.00)

Tony Moly Caviar Essential Essence (free!!!)

I got a freebie because my total bill reached over P300.00. There are other products that I'll be buying from her one of these days.

The Face Shop Haul 3

I was back at The Face Shop, SM Fairview this afternoon to buy a toner. I've been reading reviews about products from The Face Shop these past few days. I decided to try the toner in one of their skin care line, Eco Vert. According to the description of the toner in the TFS website:

Description
Toner that comforts and relieves stressed & dehydrated skin after cleansing. It contains Golden Palm oil to soother for thin, reactive skin. This oil forms a thin Yellow layer on to of the toner. We did not want to add stabilizer in order to deliver this Golden Palm Oil in pure form .

Unfortunately, the single bottle of toner was not available in the store. What they have is the toner which is included in the Eco Vert Special Starter Kit.

The Face Shop Eco Vert Special Starter Kit (P355.00)

Included in the starter kit are the following:

- Essential Toner
- Daily Moisturizer
- Extreme-Moisture Serum
- Extreme-Moisture Cream
- Extreme-Moisture Eye Serum

This line looks promising as the products are paraben-free, artificial fragrance-free, alcohol-free, organic-pigment free and mineral-oil free. Hopefully, they would react well with my skin.

Beauty Haul

I went to SM Fairview again today to cash-in money in my G-Cash account. I bought some stuff from ebay and the seller prefers G-Cash payment. As usual, any trip to the mall these days will not be complete without going to any beauty store. Instead of going to The Face Shop, I went to Watson's.

I was just browsing when I saw another Korean beauty product that are recommended by some people from the forum I visit. The product is iWhite Korea. The good thing about this product: it's not expensive. I just hope that because the price is cheap, the quality will not be as cheap.

A closer look at my haul:
iWhite Korea Nose Pack (P17.00)

Yes, you read it right. A pack costs only 17 bucks! So if it does not work for me, then it's not a total waste.

Trim Nail Care Sticks (P34.75)

I'll be needing these sticks for my manicure this weekend.

So there goes another haul. =)
