Gifts Galore

We had our Christmas party this morning. My students enjoyed it even though I was a grinch (from having a sucky birthday yesterday). Good thing they did not notice my sour mood. They were focused on having fun and opening their gifts.
One of the perks of being a teacher is receiving gifts from my students during Christmas party. I received a lot today. Of course, I have to be honest. I got excited, too.

My mood is not sour anymore. :)

My New Toy

My 4-year-old 1st Gen iPod Nano is dying soon.

I am a music lover. My iTunes has 27.29 GB (and growing) songs in it. Even though the iPod Nano could only fit less than 2 GB songs, I still love it. It has been with me through good times and bad times. I use it every time I want to listen to music. Lately, the battery goes red after at least 10 songs. So I needed to change it.

Here's my new music player.

 

iPod Touch 8GB

At first, I thought of buying the latest iPod Nano model. But the features of the iPod Touch (not iTouch) attracted me. With this, I could watch videos, surf the internet, update my Facebook and Twitter status, play games, and read e-books among others. So I have to shell out more money. But it's okay. It's all worth it.

As for my iPod Nano, I'll keep it for sentimental reasons. :)

My real agenda in going to the mall this afternoon was to buy a new pair of shoes. I didn't see anything I like. I ended up with two dresses instead. The store, Seven Confessions, mostly have dresses and they're all priced at P499.00. The original price of the dresses were P1200.00+. I saw other dresses that I like so I might come back one of these days. Hopefully, they would still be on sale.

I was not able to find anything I like from the mall sale so I transferred to another mall. These were the items I bought. They are both inexpensive so I still have money left for a new pair of shoes.
